DIY Makeup Brush Cleaner
Makeup brushes can accumulate bacteria, skin cells and oil which can lead to clogged pores, skin breakouts and an uneven makeup finish. If you’re using your brushes daily then you need to be giving them a good wash every month.
The tea tree essential oil in this recipe has purifying and cleaning properties and will help to cleanse your brush and remove your gunk and bacteria.

Ingredients
2 Tablespoons Carrier Oil (eg Fractionated Coconut oil)
5 drops Tea Tree (Melaleuca) essential oil
Instructions
Pour carrier oil into a small bowl.
Add essential oils into the bowl.
Swirl your makeup brush in the mixture until you see all the makeup come out. You can also rub it in the palm of your hand to help get it all out.
Rinse the brush under warm water.
Dry your makeup brushes on a clean towel – this may take a few hours.
